Our Mission

TeleSpring's mission is to provide access to neurologists who match the needs of the healthcare facility, whether that is on-call emergency services, consultation services on patients admitted to the hospital, or staffing outpatient clinics.

As a division of NeuroSpring Inc, a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization, TeleSpring does not charge for its services. This minimizes the financial barriers faced by hospitals and clinics that need teleneurology services and by neurologists that need to make a decent income providing teleneurology services. We put the two together as directly as possible so that patients can benefit - and then we get out of the way.

How We Do It

We inform and we introduce.

Collectively TeleSpring’s founders have more than 50 years’ experience in teleneurology, and throughout our careers we have worked in more than a dozen teleneurology companies. We're happy to work with credible recruiters who should expect the neurologists we refer to negotiate as a group.

What We Don’t Do

We're not interested in providing short-term coverage to fill scheduling gaps nor in supplanting credible locums services.
We make lasting relationships that address community healthcare needs. But we are flexible and will address changes in the relationships we helped implement.

We don't get involved in patient billing or establishing malpractice insurance coverage.
We leave that to the hospital, locums service, or else to the neurologist who staffs the teleneurology services, depending upon situation.

We don't provide video conferencing equipment or telecommunications services.
Any medical-grade video conferencing equipment used by the hospital or clinic will work, and we know computer service experts that can address these issues on behalf of hospitals and neurologists.

We don't establish contracts between the hospital and neurologist.
But we are transparent about the costs to be encountered by both sides in such situations.
